Responsibilities

The Business Unit Controller will be responsible for the following:
  • Partner closely with Business in developing a deep understanding of key performance drivers in order to support strategic decisions and provide independent inputs on business financials/ trends / related issues.
  • Perform deep analysis on the business performance using available data.
  • Drive automation of current reporting processes.
  • Actively participate in discussion and direction-setting on all key business performance indicators, e.g., revenue growth, profitability, productivity, Net New Money, AUM, etc.
  • Drive annual planning process for the business as well as establish strong performance management discipline.
  • Ensure financial discipline in investments and costs.
  • Establish strong internal controls over the business financials and processes to comply with accounting and internal policies.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills; hands-on and delivery focused.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; highly driven and self-starter.
  • Strong and broad-based understanding of wealth management business and product dynamics.
  • Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline.
  • More than 10 years of experience in management accounting/planning.
