As a Barclays Onboarding Relationship Management (ORM), you will be a part of the ORM Team which ensuring to bring clients from the respective trading entities on board in an efficient, reliable, and controlled manner, minimizing impacts to clients and ensuring they are provided with an excellent onboarding service. You will ensure Front Office partners/ Clients are provided with an efficient, timely on-boarding process delivering a best-in-class service to both internal and external stakeholders throughout the on-boarding process.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally can request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?
  • Acting as a single point of contact for client onboarding, using solid evaluative judgement based on the analysis of information to manage various processes during the end to end
  • Acting as an advisory in defining the standards and specifications around of these changes ensuring procedures are operational
  • Providing ongoing training and supporting to colleagues, ensuring that essential procedures are followed and complex problems resolved
  • Coordinating the most sensitive or complex Clients, acting as primary contact for internal/ external stakeholders, coaching junior member of the team with client onboarding queries
  • Utilising internal systems for workflow management and data storage
  • Reviewing control reports, investigating, and resolving breaks
  • Performing quality checking on sample of requests processed
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree or four years' equivalent work experience in the Onboarding, KYC, Regulatory area
  • Work or internship experience in Financial Services or client facing/ client service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage heavy volumes of work and prioritize accordingly
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Increase depth of knowledge in AML/ KYC, Product, Regulatory, Credit, Legal, Ops and Tech Infrastructure
  • Ability to challenge inefficiencies along the ETE journey and promote/ influence improvement areas
  • Solid analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Solid Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel)
Where will you be working?

Our offices are situated in the center of Hong Kong's financial district, at 2 Queen's Road. Cheung Kong Centre is an investment banking hub that offers panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and Kowloon Peninsula. There is a variety of local amenities and you will be just a short walk from shopping malls, health clubs and multiple transport links.
