Your new company
A growing IT Service Provider in Melbourne's South-East requires a Level 2 Systems Engineer to join its Managed Services team for a permanent role commencing immediately. Your new role The purpose of the vITM role is to align clients' networks to best practice standards set by the company. The vITM serves as a key reference point for clients' technical environment, assisting the vCIOs in making recommendations to help continually improve the client's environment that will ultimately reduce reactive noise. This role is Proactive and has a direct influence on the reduction of RHEM (Reactive Hours per Endpoint per Month) and TPE (Tickets per Endpoint).

Manage a portfolio of approx. 20-25 clients as an onsite technical resource.
Develop & maintain in-depth knowledge of client networks to consolidate knowledge.
Conduct Technical Alignment Reviews and regular onsite visits in line with department process.
Taking technical ownership of client environments.
Responsible for technical alignment (identification and remediation) to reduce reactive tickets and time spent
doing them.
Work with and provide technical recommendations to the vCIO on behalf of the client.
Identify risks and sales opportunities and provide to the vCIO.
Build & maintain strong technical relationships with client base
Create & maintain 'to do' lists, site reports, activity playbook and vITM change logs.
Regular internal meetings to coordinate required actions with other service delivery areas.
This role is a customer facing field position and you will be required to have your own reliable vehicle
(Reimbursements will be provided in line with our Travel Policy).

Mon - Thurs will be client site visits, Fri will be working from the office in Notting Hill

What you'll need to succeedMSP experience in IT/Networking Engineering (L2); includes minimum 1 year
client facing.
Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills. Ability to carry out & communicate works methodically.
Strong self-management or organisation skills to be able to work autonomously.
Australian Citizen or Permanent Residents

Windows Server Environments (2003 to 2016)
