Overview:

The RMCoE Credit Monitoring team performs a centralized first line of defense function. The team evaluates Payment and Settlements which suspend in queue due to insufficient funding or other Risk flags. Risk Monitors identify and escalate transactions to the Business Lines and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to obtain details of covering funds and appropriate approvals for release to market.

Job Description & Core Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and review transactions on a case by case basis, and resolve or escalate as needed
  • Ensure all transactions are actioned by market and currency deadlines
  • Ensure a full understanding and adherence to Corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participate in self-testing and other related audit requirements
  • Support team initiatives, by learning and completing job related functions, thus meeting departmental goals and objectives
  • Respond promptly to client queries, and ensure a timely resolution
  • Perform functions utilizing various system applications including MCH, MTS, IBS, and Hogan
  • Meet accuracy and productivity targets as established by management
  • Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines
  • Identify, escalate and/or report any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines


Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and risk- oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented team environment
  • Advanced PC skills
  • Excel Visual Basic Application skills (preferred but not required)
  • Payment and Settlement experience preferable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, ensure accuracy and execute against pre-determined deadlines

Salary Range:
$41,600 - $60,320 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
