Who we are looking for
We are looking for a driven employee with knowledge of the securities lending and borrowing business to oversee the Securities Finance Principal/Enhanced Custody operations team globally. This position will involve cross-organizational and/or strategic initiatives, always ensuring that business as usual (BAU) production and performance meet client expectations, which may encompass data management, rationalization of applications, data governance/quality, process improvement/re-engineering, and technology implementations. This position will be responsible for managing approximately 10+ personnel, and indirectly managing 30+ staff, as the Global Lead for Securities Finance Principal/EC operations. This position will also be placed in a highly visible role of managing the expectations of the front office and executive leadership team, acting as a key leader for achieving risk excellence and growth for the company. It is also expected that this individual will be a mentor and a leader for SSGM operational staff

What you will be responsible for
As Securities Finance Enhanced Custody Operations Manager, Global Markets, Vice President, you will:

  • Drive planning and execution of for all Enhanced Custody initiatives, while executing strategic/tactical goals and milestones with detailed oversight.
  • Manage direct and indirect staff, to account for; cost, resources, risk, dependencies, quality, and effective communications. Ensuring overall execution of division initiatives as the subject matter expert (SME) for enhanced custody.
  • Oversee Operational processing, controls, appropriate administration, and documentation, are in place to ensure governance for all Enhanced Custody BAU - ensuring any collateral risk is managed appropriately, including self-financing.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff as a SME, in order to develop additional SMEs and the managers of the teams.
  • Act as the escalation point for issues, working with teams to resolve and/or escalate as needed to remove road blocks, ensuring transparency.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree is preferable
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in staff management, including experience in enhanced custody/prime brokerage, enterprise-wide programs

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $177,500 Annual
