As a Product Owner, you will contribute to developing digital consumer money transfer services offered through WU.com and mobile apps. You will manage products and features through their full lifecycle from inception to delivery. You will also rely on data analytics to deliver the best customer experience and the highest value to our customers.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Western Union partners, regional business, marketing, operations, and customer support teams to understand customer expectations and to design solutions to exceed them.
  • Evaluate product ideas that are focused on acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers, building brand loyalty, and providing customer self-service tools.
  • Act as a product owner within your focus area: author user stories, flows, and acceptance criteria, prioritize your backlog and work closely with the engineering team to deliver value each sprint.
  • Use data to understand customer needs and behaviors; transform that knowledge into product enhancements and new features.
  • Measure product metrics using analytics tools; improve your metrics through features optimization and A/B testing.
  • Provide your ideas and recommendations for improving our digital products and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX design teams to ensure our digital products have the most engaging user experience.
  • Contribute to the creation of roadmaps and product strategies.
  • Ensure reporting to the key stakeholders and alignment with the product roadmap.
Role Requirements
  • Experience in digital product management or as a business analyst, requirement analyst, project manager, digital marketing manager, or similar role.
  • The customer-focused mindset with a willingness to innovate, in addition to strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, science, business, or similar.
  • Ability to break down requirements into epics, user stories, and user flows, refine and elaborate the user stories, as well as negotiate on scope and complexity.
  • Data-driven: experience with web/mobile analytics tools, A/B testing, and data analysis would be an advantage.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Subject matter knowledge or experience in any of the areas of payments, compliance, web or mobile development, third-party API integrations, information security, and UI/UX would be an advantage.
  • Experience or qualifications in agile methodologies would be an advantage.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 2625 - 4075 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
