Buy Side equity Analyst, Multi Strategy / Absolute Return Investment Fund

We are now working with a leading investment fund, who are looking for a Buy Side Equity Analyst to join their team.

The role will work on absolute return strategies, and focus on direct investments into equities, derivatives and fund investments.

Day to day this will involve:

• Idea generation and research

• Listening to conference calls/ management meetings

• Keeping research notes

• Analysis of portfolio holdings and new ideas,

• Idea generation and quantitative analysis

• Model & chart maintenance & updates

• Help maintain & update research on key portfolio positions

• Ad-hoc research reports • Helping update the ongoing monthly and quarterly presentation decks with accurate data and information • Daily monitoring of investment positions across the multi-asset team portfolios, maintaining positioning spreadsheets/running attribution reports with a particular focus on alternatives

• Analyst who has just finished the grad scheme at a major asset management firm

• Sell side equity analyst

• CFA

• Real interest in investing

The role is probably suitable for someone with 2 - 4 years work experience
