FUND / MANAGER RESEARCH - SENIOR MANAGER / ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Our client is an international asset management firm, they are now seeking for a high calibre candidate to join them.

Conduct excellent on-going quantitative and qualitative research, investment manager analysis and due diligence on portfolios and managers under different investment strategies and asset classes to ensure the success of strategies that are covered, and resolve any issues which may arise. Maintain a consistent approach in clearly identify return/ risk drivers and develop value propositions in fund recommendation. Closely partner with internal product team, local business units and investment platform owners to ensure business targets and requirements are fulfilled. Develop a center of expertise that aligns with the global manager research team globally and adds value to the business. Serve as the internal subject matter on fund product coverage list for the local and regional open or managed architecture investment platforms in Asia to support product search, platform analysis, business growth and strategic initiatives & recommendations. Work on other ad-hoc projects as assigned

To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 6 years in investment manager /fund research, assessment, and analysis experience. Highly developed professional communication, writing, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to professionally present in team meetings, and to committees and working groups on new initiatives. Knowledge of wealth, retirement or investment-linked insurance scheme platforms preferred. Sound knowledge of Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Lipper and other research packages.
