Finance Director, Real Estate Investment

Responsibilities

• Working with a market leading fully integrated real estate company offering expertise in investment, development, and asset management in the property sector, the Company seeks a Finance Director to take overall responsibility for delivery of all financial aspects in relation to the Greater China platform.
• This Finance Director will partner with the local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate monthly accounts are submitted to shareholders in a consistent manner, and oversee financial planning and budgets, design and implement business systems and ensure compliance with the region's accounting procedures.
• The Finance Director will report to the Executive Committee and play an active role as a senior leader within the business. The role will require exceptional leadership and accounting skills as well as strong commercial awareness to advise business leaders on key decisions.
• Leading the entire finance function of the group providing from financial strategy, investment analysis, treasury management, tax planning, legal and fiscal management as well as ESG, IT & Admin function teams.
• Participating in developing new business, specifically assisting in identifying new funding opportunities.
• Overseeing cash flow planning, cash investment, and asset management, financial strategies, activities and banking relationships.
• Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the company's long term strategy.

REQUIREMENT

• A degree holder in a recognized University;
• A member of ACCA/HKICPA or accounting body recognized by HKICPA;
• At least 15 years relevant experience and at least 5 years as CFO or financial controller;
• Preferably with experience in real estate investment businesses;
• Entrepreneurial minded and innovative in ways of adding value to organization's business and willing to take on new challenges;
• Proactive, confident, adaptable with ability to drive changes and execute initiatives;
• Highly proficient with spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin is essential;
• Able to work under pressure and fast-paced working environment;
• Team player and strong leadership skills.
