This Vice President is a member of the Liquidity Platform Management group in the Asset/Liability Management department of Corporate Treasury. This position will manage the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) Management Repository (MR) framework architecture, operational execution and change control oversight.

To fulfil this role, the Vice President will be required to:
  • Manage the Quantitative Risk Management ('QRM') Management Repository ('MR') framework which is the primary data repository for ALM corporate treasury.
  • Review, enhance and simplify existing SQL transformation logic to increase performance and data flow efficiency.
  • Develop, configure, and implement changes or new capabilities in the QRM MR framework to meet functional requirements for the various QRM analytical teams across the ALM department.
  • Enhance the measurement and monitoring framework including archiving, change control and performance benchmarking.
  • Enhance MR workflow with a goal to improve efficiency while reducing operational risk of using the QRM MR application.
  • Lead and coordinate projects with multi-disciplinary teams across Treasury, Risk, Finance, Technology, and the business. Support the preparation and implementation of project plans, delivering to deadline.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required with 7+ years of financial or consultative services preferred
  • Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or computer science preferred
  • High proficiency in written and verbal communications skills
  • Advanced SQL Experience
  • SQL database administration experience preferred
  • QRM and MR experience preferred
  • Accounting or financial background with knowledge of financial statements and ratios
  • MS Office proficient with strong excel and power point skills
  • Project management skills
  • Independent working, strong problem solving and analytical ability
  • Ability to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment

Additional skillset includes: analysis of corporate financial statements, business process modelling and understanding of a complex financial institution's operational work flows; keen learner; calm under pressure; strong quantitative and qualitative skills; ability to synthesise large amounts of data and deduce conclusions from data gaps; ability to draw persuasive conclusions in presentations to executive management; strong leadership abilities; works effectively in a co-located team environment; interacts comfortably with staff at all levels; displays a willingness to challenge conventional thinking. Leadership ability will be key in ensuring tasks are completed to deadline.

Desired locations are PGH and NYC.
