Position Overview
Support the APAC Public Relations lead to develop and execute media activity plans to build and protect reputation of MSCI in the APAC region
Scope of Responsibility
• Source and secure media coverage, interviews, byline placement, media briefing and media relations opportunities
• Build executive profiles to showcase MSCI solution capabilities, thought leadership and depth of bench
• Work with the wider Marketing team to ensure holistic approach with well-coordinated PR, social media, web, events and email campaign where appropriate
• Draft and create messages and content for executive briefing and media consumption
• Coordinate with external PR agency to achieve PR goals
• Track and report on media coverage
• Maintain PR calendar and spokesperson database
• Liaison with vendors including PR agencies, translation houses and multimedia firms
• English material translation to Chinese, and vice versa
• Other admin support on relevant duties
Specific Knowledge/Skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to embrace and take ownership of projects
• Team player with a start-up mindset
• Experience in photo editing and multimedia production desirable
Desired Experience
Year 3 or final year undergraduate or postgraduate, with previous internship experiences in financial institutions or corporates.
Desired Qualifications
• Year 3 or final year university or postgraduate students
• Current study in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related fields
