We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager, Vice President.

Principal Responsibilities

Build relationship with RMs, Specialists and Clients
  • By utilizing effective distribution strategies
  • By delivering a value proposition aimed at earning incremental business to achieve the set AOP
  • Assist in marketing campaign and initiatives
Promote professional concept-based sale of Insurance product portfolio
  • Establish strong working knowledge of advanced sales concept
  • Establish strong working knowledge of product features/benefits, and competitive positioning
  • Able to communicate and transfer advanced sales concepts to the RMs/Specialists via retooling, training or during huddle sessions
Monitor and control sales activities to ensure achievement of plans and objectives
  • Oversee sales cycle analysis
  • Identify and resolve issues in process and cooperation with channel management
  • Monitor and ensure quality of customer services provided by sales force as well as operations
  • Maintain effective communication channel with distribution
  • Case management of submitted cases
  • Best practice sharing relating to sales process and case studies
  • Develop high net worth insurance opportunities from within Distribution Partners' client base by proactively training and developing strong technical advanced sales concepts with the RMs and/or Specialists
  • By maintaining a high level of submission-to-inception ratio
Achieve annual target FYP goals set by senior management

  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain high level of compliance guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure self and team activities comply with relevant legal/regulatory requirements and HSBC standards and procedures
  • Maintain high standard of HSBC brand and value awareness
  • Financial Crime Compliance
  • Taking the right actions at work
  • Take personal responsibility and be vigilant against financial crimes when carrying out duties and responsibilities.
  • Know all relevant FCC policies and procedures, and know when to escalate concerns or unusual activities
Requirements

Requirements
  • Degree and/or Recognised insurance qualification - Life Insurance Products, General Insurance, Investment Linked Qualified
  • 5 years relevant working experience
  • Understanding of Universal Life
