The Role: Agile Acceleration Lead

The Impact:
S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking an Agile Acceleration Office Lead to help guide, inspire, and lead the organization through its Agile transformation. As the Agile Acceleration Lead, you will work closely with leaders and team members at all levels to ensure the execution certainty and integration of this critical initiative. You will help teams change their ways of working, maximizing their full potential to deliver value and progress against key business outcomes. You will drive behavior change and work with agile teams to track organizational metrics and manage business processes. You will support with training sessions and workshops to enable teams in agile methodology. You will embrace agility as a discipline and drive the agile maturation of each team and the organization as a change agent and agile leader.
You will report to the divisional Head of People, acting as the Acceleration Office Lead, and work with a team of Agile Coaches that exemplifies agile mindset and provides hands-on experiences with cross-functional teams to engineer their best way of working. You will cultivate a high-performance culture of client centrism, disciplined execution, collaboration, innovation, and integrity. S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $200,000 depending on experience. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Responsibilities:

- Guide direction on vision, enable critical decision-making, help unblock escalated issues, and visibly champion effort of transformation management strategy
- Help drive the agile strategy across the organization to the right levels of leadership and teams to ensure understanding of transformation objectives
- Key player in successfully implementing and maturing agile while helping to drive organizational and cultural transformation changes
- Be an ambassador for agile and a catalyst for continuous improvement - role models agile principles and behaviors
- Help drive Agile execution and initiatives across S&P DJI by collaborating with Acceleration Office Lead, Lead Agile Coach and others to create and then own all Agile playbooks
- Deliver powerful, persuasive presentations to audiences at all levels, expressing complex concepts/ideas into a simple compelling story that is aligned with the overall divisional strategy and objectives
- Continuously evolve playbook and presentations furthering the transformation of the organization
- Work with Acceleration Office leaders to meet transformation deliverables such as identifying a standard set of Agile metrics, revising project templates, setting up communities of practice and updating processes
- Assist in guiding teams in creating a plan to establish and track OKRs, meet deliverables, and facilitate meetings.
- Track adoption of practices and processes; ensure tool alignment
- Measure and track sprint-related output metrics and update relevant stakeholders
- Own maturity metrics by creating and aggregating surveys; evolve for agile and non-agile teams
- Maintain dashboard for Agile maturity metrics and work with Agile Coaches to align on assessment
- Help in designing Quarterly Business Review ("QBR") and measurement process in collaboration with Finance team
- Run QBR process and work with relevant stakeholders to align on and track OKRs
- Partner with People, Communications and other divisional colleagues to craft and execute communications and any ongoing upskilling support
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience with experience in supporting Agile transformation
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience working with or in Agile teams and understanding of practices
- A depth and breadth of knowledge on how S&P Dow Jones Indices operates including impactful trends and future direction of the core index, asset, wealth, and capital market industries preferred
- Effectively supported a successful organizational transformation
- Experience with Agile frameworks preferrable within a product and client-centric organization
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate with senior and middle management
- Previously worked in a global company and demonstrated cross-cultural and cross-functional effectiveness
- Results driven- owns partnerships as key enablers to deliver business objectives
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships to effectively navigate the organization
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to absorb input from multiple external and internal influences and translate into effective and actionable plans and initiatives
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
