We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Strategic Planning and Stress Testing.

Principal Responsibilities
  • This is a regional role and sits within the Strategic Planning and Stress Testing (SP&ST) team which is situated within the Finance function
  • Support strategic planning responsibilities, including reporting, forecasting, annual plan and strategic analysis for senior management
  • Work closely with HBAP SP&ST Head of Finance Analytics to provide HBAP CFO / EXCO / Board with timely management information and business insights, to clearly articulate performance and support strategic decision making
  • Support the delivery and implementation of business initiatives, such as execution progress and performance tracking. Prepare presentations, management scorecards and other relevant materials for executive review
  • Establish strong, effective and collaborative working relationships within the team and with a wide range of stakeholders across Finance, Investor Relations and Strategy & Planning
  • Provide general support to the team. Work on other ad hoc tasks as and when required

This role requires an individual who can demonstrate strength and experience in the following areas:
  • University degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset, with an excellent grasp of business drivers
  • Demonstrates good delivery skills, with experience in supporting financial and management information an advantage
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the financial services industry and the key market trends
  • Demonstrates an understanding of financial statements and finance processes
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal), planning and organisation skills
  • Ambition to learn and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional drive and commitment; ability to work and thrive in a fast-changing and evolving environment; and ability in handling competing priorities
  • Good operating skills, including use of Microsoft Office, Programming (e.g. Python), Visualization tools (e.g. Qlik) would be advantageous
