Coller Capital, founded in 1990, is one of the world's leading investors in the secondary market for private assets. The firm provides liquidity solutions to private markets investors worldwide, acquiring interests in private equity, private credit, and other private markets assets. In January 2021, the firm closed Coller International Partners VIII, with committed capital (including co-investment vehicles) of just over $9 billion and backing from over 200 of the world's leading institutional investors. In February 2022 the firm closed Coller Credit Opportunities I, with committed capital (including co-investment vehicles) of c.$1.4 billion and backing from over 30 institutional investors.

Following the successful raising of Coller International Partners VIII, with over $9bn of commitments from over 200 global investors, the company wants to hire an Investor Relations professional as it continues to build out the firm's Investor Relations team.

Based in Hong Kong, this individual will be working closely with the London based Investor Relations team including senior management to assist, co-ordinate and enhance Coller Capital's investor relations and fundraising activities in Asia. The individual will have the opportunity to get involved from the early stages of the firm's next Flagship and Credit fund raises; the role will act as the linchpin of the team's Investor Services sub-function, co-ordinating seamless, high-quality client interactions across investor reporting, investor meetings, due diligence and investor queries. The Investor Relations Senior Associate will be responsible for ensuring that the needs and requirements of our investors are met in a professional, engaging and efficient manner.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for co-ordination and responding to existing and prospective investor questions in Asia, working closely with the London based Fundraising Team and the Head of Asia to ensure consistent outputs across investors questions
  • Support Coller Capital's fundraising activities by producing marketing materials and assisting in the response to due diligence questions and requests
  • Be a central point of contact for all matters affecting our investors and work successfully across all Coller Capital's departments in Hong Kong and with external suppliers to deliver a consistently high quality investor experience
  • Monitor industry best practice and contribute new ideas to help refine the company's innovative global Investor Relations programme

Essential Experience:
  • Finance/investment banking background
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills including MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Desirable Experience:
  • Professional qualification
  • Experience in private equity (ideally Investor Services / Relations)
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages

  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised, efficient and able to take responsibility for tasks to completion
  • Hardworking, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is perceptive to the needs of others
