Senior DCM Originator

About the job

• Responsible for developing the DCM European Financials platform in France and Benelux.
• Producing manager role, covering directly a portfolio of key Clients across Banks and Insurers in France / Benelux.
• Manage and develop resources and activities across the BBVA Financials platform, working closely with key stakeholders. Responsible for leading focused streams of work, involving Solutions and Advisory areas, around specific client needs.

Paris or London based. Reporting to the Head of DCM Financials & SSA EMEA.

Experience and Knowledges:

• Senior professional with 8 years minimum experience in Debt Capital Markets, covering European Financial Issuers. Knowledge of Insurance sector will be valued
• Solid track-record of Primary bonds mandates and existing Clients' relationships Established dialogue with Clients' Senior executives. Access to CFO in medium-sized Issuers
• Deep knowledge of Financials' Fixed Income products, including: Covered Bonds, Senior, T2 & AT1. Knowledge of Capital Regulation & hedging derivatives will be valued.

Languages :

• French: native, bilingual
• English: proficient is essential

Soft Skills:

• High commercial skills: Ability to attract and cement new business relationships at Senior level.
• Well-connected with Bank Peers in the European DCM market.
• Team player, entrepreneurial and with trackrecord of leading/implementing growth.

This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification . In case the candidate is not certified, they will have to obtain the pertaining certification upon the incorporation to the role.
