M&A Director (Based in Singapore; Retail/FMCG)

Key responsibilities :

Work closely with leadership team to support the business review to define market entry and organic growth strategies including market franchise
Perform and present, market research/report to evaluate strategic players and to form opinion and options and, business and financial analysis to support investment decision, acquisition regionally or formation of capital ventures
Liaise actively with internal project teams and professional advisers to evaluate investment opportunities and execute transactions
Key player in project team to deliver duties include but not limited to operational and commercial due diligence, and contingency plan

Job Requirement

Recognized degree from a top tier academic institution
At least 8 years of working experience of strategic development or operational consulting or financial advisory in M&A roles within corporates, financial services, private equity or venture capital firms
Possess strong commercial acumen and demonstrated understanding of corporate finance principles knowledge including M&A, investments, venture capital, strategic alliances, joint ventures etc
Experience in retail or FMCG sector is a plus
Exposure in Asia Pacific and a successful track record in dealing effectively with multicultural organizations
Agile and high mobility for short-term or long-term travel assignment
