Investment Associate (Renewable Energy), Singapore

• Singapore based, 2 years fixed-term contract renewable upon performance
• Years of exp: 2-5 years

Responsibilities would include:

• Support the expansion of the business through greenfield and brownfield equity investments in renewable energy assets in the APAC region
• Market research across SEA countries to identify acquisition targets and to inform the annual planning process
• Assist in execution, structuring and financing of investments (new / existing) and assess economics
• Prepare valuation and project update reports for stakeholders and sponsors
• Work closely with other stakeholders such as risk, legal, tax and accounting etc to ensure successful investment execution
• Manage investment approval process including: reviewing proposals from sales, coordinating reviews with HQ, scheduling hub and HQ approval process

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience, either with a private equity firm / asset manager/ IPP / renewable energy project developer / investment management firm
• Experienced in early greenfield development, particularly around Renewable Energy assets is a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Experience with SalesForce, PowerBI a plus
• Team player, family culture
• Good work ethics and can-do attitude
• Good communication, problem solving skills
