The Role Responsibilities
Role holder will

  • Have the opportunity to work with various parties of the bank including both Standard Chartered country and group products, sales, operation, collection, modelling and governance to support business growth opportunities in Singapore.
  • Have the opportunity to work on bank's new product/ service projects through partnership such as Buy Now, Pay Later ("BNPL"). This will cover end-to-end credit cycle review including underwriting, portfolio monitoring and collection management for newly designed financial product.
  • Have the opportunity to work together with bank's credit policy manager and analyst for the review of in-production credit policies and its revision.
  • Be able to learn how a Credit Risk Decision Framework is developed, monitored and managed.
  • Be supporting the credit bureau data management operations activities and learn the working mechanism between each financial institution and credit bureau.
  • Be supporting generation and verifications of monthly Credit Bureau upload and performing investigations on customer complaints raised by Credit Bureau or internal department.
Responsibilities
  • Support the portfolio management activities such as tracking, monitoring, and analysing the full credit cycle performance and risk tolerance metrics of the Unsecured portfolios.
  • Support bank's credit testing programs launches through effective management of program risks and profitability.
  • Participate in credit decision engine testing and implementations as part of bank initiatives or system enhancements.
  • Support credit bureau data management activities related to timely submission to Credit Bureau Singapore (CBS), data quality standards and process controls.
  • With the use of credit bureau data, support the establishment of a robust credit analytic framework to identify early warning signals, credit risk process inputs and customer segment risk factor(s).
