PORTFOLIO TRADER POSITION SUMMARY
Triune Financial Partners, LLC is a comprehensive Financial Planning and Retirement Plans Consulting firm based in Overland Park, KS.
Triune serves its private clients by coming alongside them to build a Financial Life Plan. Advisors and staff work collaboratively to address each area of a client’s life. Specifically, wealth management, investment advisory, risk management & insurance, cash flow & budgeting, group benefits review, 401(k) recommendations, taxes, estate planning, and charitable giving.
The primary role of a Portfolio Trader is to maintain clients’ portfolios invested appropriately following each client’s investment objectives. The Portfolio Trader takes direct instructions from Advisors with regards to the essential duties and responsibilities required of this position. This is not a client-facing position, however there will be a lot of phone and email communication with clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Execute trades and rebalance client accounts
▪ Responsible for processing distributions, deposits, periodic investments
▪ Create gain/loss, trade analysis, and other reports in Excel
▪ Research information about securities or other funds
▪ Development and update procedures related to trading
▪ Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/KEY ATTRIBUTES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, Accounting or Economics Preferred
▪ Must be proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel
▪ Experience working with Redtail CRM and Orion Eclipse Trading Platform
▪ Experience working with Fidelity and TD Ameritrade/Schwab
EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING ARE A PLUS:
▪ Tax loss harvesting, rebalancing at scale, donor advised funds, Roth conversions, Dimensional Fund Advisors, ETF trading, transfers.
