About the Division/ Opportunity:

Architecture serves a pivotal role in transforming the IT landscape to facilitate ICBCS to achieve its business objective. It enforces the discipline of thorough design processes from the conception to the delivery of a strategy or change. It works closely with other key functions such as business change and IT delivery to develop competencies to better serve our business aspirations.

The Enterprise Architect (contractor/consultant) will create or refine the core EA artefacts - Policies, Standards, Principles, Knowledge Management Frameworks, etc. She/he will also help reinvigorate engagement and governance channels by refreshing the associated terms of reference.

Key Responsibilities:

•Define the framework and populate the initial version to manage the recommended list of software's by technical capabilities e.g. BI Reporting - {SSRS, SAP BI}, Cube Analytics - {SSAS}

•Define the framework and populate the initial version to manage the recommended list of tools by Devops lifecycle e.g. Monitoring - {Geneos, Elasticsearch /Kibana}, Build- {Maven}, Continuous Integration - {Jenkins, TeamCity}

•Review and refine the Policies, Standards and guidelines such as Cloud Questionnaire, Application Monitoring standards, etc.

•Review and refine the knowledge management frameworks such as System Catalogue, Feed Catalogue, etc.

•Review and refine the term of reference for architectural engagement and governance channels such as Architecture Review Board, etc.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Undergraduate Computer Science or Engineering qualification (or higher or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in Architecture role in (preferably in an investment bank or other financial institution)
  • Demonstrable strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture best practices.
  • Strong experience of working with a wide range of technology and business stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong prior expertise in producing and reviewing architecture artefacts
