Group Audit helps the Board and Executive Management meet the strategic and operational objectives of the DBS Group. We conduct independent checks to ensure that the Group's risk and control processes are adequate and effective. All our team members are highly sought-after professionals who work as trusted advisors to our stakeholders, in all matters related to a company's internal controls.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and conduct audit projects in accordance with Group Audit's standards and key performance indicators in the following risk analytics and modelling areas:
    • Credit IRBA models (Retail & Non-retail portfolios)
    • Credit Pillar 2 models (e.g. Counterparty Credit Risk and Credit Concentration Risk models)
    • Credit Pillar 1 & 2 stress testing models (Retail & Non-retail portfolios)
    • IFRS9 ECL models (Retail & Non-retail portfolios)
    • Market Risk pricing, VAR and valuation reserve models; and
    • Liquidity Risk and IRRBB behaviour models
  • Collaborate with team members / stakeholders to ensure that assigned audit projects are timely completed and meet the required standards
  • Identify deficiencies and conduct deep analyse in the modelling areas
  • Communicate and report audit findings/ recommendations clearly, accurately, and objectively
  • Provide value-added opinions and recommendations to improve the design and effectiveness of internal controls
  • Develop and harness audit analytics tools to conduct audit review in a more data driven manner
  • Develop strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A recognised university degree strong in quantitative subject background (Mathematical Finance, Statistics etc)
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience preferably in development/validation of quantitative models across Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and IRRBB
  • Strong knowledge of Basel and Capital Management regulations
  • Good quantitative and modelling skills
  • Proficient in Python
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - capable of cohesively organise appropriate information / findings and articulate key messages and recommendations in effective and easily understood terms
  • Good writing skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player who is able to take initiatives and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently under tight timelines
  • Prior auditing experience is desirable, but not mandatory
