The role
This is a critical position within a small, high performing product team. You'll act as the subject matter expert within this Australia based team who are responsible for the delivery of business analysis & IT solutions for clients. Working with stakeholders to translate product vision and strategy into clear requirements for delivery; performing detailed system and process analysis for new features and usability options and ensuring test plans adequately capture requirement specifications.
With a focus on Syn~, you will be a key contact for providing our external clients with support around minor enhancement work, ensuring peak productivity for the product.

The responsibilities will include:
- Maintain an excellent understanding of the way in which our products are used by customers and how our customers operate within the market.
- When working on product enhancements, understand the broader customer environment in which the product is used to ensure appropriate solutions are defined.
- Share ideas for new product features with Product Owners / Managers.
- Maintain an awareness of the roadmap for our products and ensure new features are in-line with the roadmap.
- Produce requirements documentation and assist in solution estimation.
- Aid in the development of end-to-end product test scenarios and compilation of regression, industry, and sanity test sets leading to quality product outcomes.
- Conduct business process reviews (BPR's) for client.
- Produce business level release notes and pro-actively update the Assist website with product solution changes.
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
- Have experience in a relevant financial services / IT industry in a similar BA role, coupled with tertiary level qualifications in Business, Science, Engineering or Economics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong experience producing reports and other written documentation.
- Demonstratable stakeholder management skills, working with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and manage multiple tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Possess good problem solving skills.
- Experience with Clearing and Settlements, Corporate actions and Back Office Operations would be advantageous.
