As a Barclays Assistant Vice President - US Financial Institutions Group, FinTech Coverage, this is an exciting opportunity where you will be accountable for covering clients for client coverage, revenue generation, coordination, and management of credit obligations, in addition to governance of the Banks relationships in the portfolio. The team works closely with stakeholders across the FIG product suite, Credit, Compliance, Operations, Markets, and the Investment Bank.
Salary / Rate Minimum: $115,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $160,000

What will you be doing?
• Assisting Relationship Directors in business development activities, business planning, client acquisition and strategy
• Determining and driving business opportunities with new and existing clients across one or more key account portfolios and within an established client planning framework
• Coordinating across Barclays' businesses to leverage the global platform for the benefit of clients, as well as to build out "own" network
• Monitoring nominated accounts within account portfolios for key credit, customer and industry risks and trends that may impact portfolio
• Demonstrating satisfactory comprehension of Barclays' strategy and team objectives
• Participating and attending in relevant team and sector meetings across CIB
• Preparing presentation and other client materials, which are on time and of consistent high-quality
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business
• Corporate and investment banking experience
• Experience with client relationships in a similar marketplace developing business awareness
• Demonstrated experience supporting relationships for large multinational clients
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Business skills and understanding client needs
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders in a global organization
• Prior formal credit training

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
