Your role and impact:

You will play a role in all aspects of the ABS team's operations and work closely with other members of the Securitized Assets team as well. You will balance your time between macro-economic portfolio management concepts and bond-specific analysis. You will use a deep relative value analysis to help maximize returns for our clients.

Your responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of primary market ABS deals by performing scenario analysis on collateral cashflows and assessing transaction documents and structures
  • Monitor collateral performance across ABS investments in various subsectors, including esoterics, consumer loans, solar loans, student loans, and others
  • Analyze relative value and recommend portfolio positioning within the ABS market
  • Trade ABS bonds in the secondary market to carry out team's investment views
  • Present updates on consumer credit and the ABS market to multi-sector PMs

Required qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant and similar experience working in fixed income markets (may include research, trading, banking/syndicate, risk management, and/or general portfolio management experience)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong financial modeling, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in evaluating credit and/or trading in esoteric ABS sectors including, but not limited to, whole business, railcar, aircraft, timeshare, container, and data center/cell tower
  • Progress toward the CFA designation
  • Experience with tools such as Intex, Bloomberg, Aladdin
  • Proficient in Python or other coding languages

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $118,750 - $140,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
