Global Payments and Cash Management is made up of almost 10,000 people, across more than 60 countries. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Sales Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Drive the acquisition-first strategy for new client relationships in this business segment, while working closely with the coverage team
  • Ability to successfully influence senior client stakeholders (CXO level) to deliver business outcomes for the bank, particularly in transaction banking
  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients proactively acting on direct customer feedback, market surveys and client engagement program
  • Lead end-to-end process for delivering successful responses to client's RFPs, in coordination with stakeholders in various countries and product groups
  • Support development, direction and delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Work with relevant key stakeholders to ensure a positive client experience including excellent service and implementation
  • Actively contribute to the GPS pipeline ensuring it is accurate and current
  • Maintain close liaison with key stakeholders so as to provide input into the strategic direction of the business and the functionality and launch of new products and services
  • Maintain close liaison with intra country, intra region and cross regional colleagues/stakeholders so as to provide input into the strategic direction of Sales, Product and Client Management functions
  • Communicate a clear vision for the GPS business that is aligned to the overall HSBC vision, values and goals, while inspiring colleagues to create an inclusive, high performing, customer centered culture
  • Proactively manage the portfolio to ensure alignment with the Bank's Risk and Control policie across Credit, Financial crime Risk and Operational Risk
  • Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business example economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements
Requirements

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Have extensive experience in transaction banking space covering international corporates
  • Strong banking knowledge across various product families in payables, receivables, liquidity, corporate cards and connectivity solutions; with experience in managing regional and cross border mandates
  • Understanding of local regulations across multiple markets in Asia is preferred
  • Buy-side experience in a regional treasury setup is an added advantage
  • Sell-side experience with regional headquarters/treasury centres and shared service centres is an added advantage
  • Track record of building new business or customer portfolio is preferred
  • Strong communication and Interpersonal skills to connect at all seniority levels
  • Self-Motivated with a growth mindset
