What will you be doing?
• On behalf of a global financial services institution, conduct quantitative analyses of information involving financial data and business strategy.
• Work closely with trading and sales to develop presentations to clearly articulate business strategy, objectives, analysis of volumes, clients, markets, and competitive analysis.
• Represent the Fixed Income Financing (FIF) business internally and externally and act as a central contact for firm, regulatory, and other key initiatives.
• Drive efficient front to back coordination to ensure business continuity.
• Help drive business strategy through implementation of new products, change initiatives, and control agenda.
• Work with Technology and Product teams on business growth initiatives.
• Represent and respond to product Audits, Conformance, and Monitoring & Testing Reviews (Compliance).
• Prepare materials and help coordinate regional and global management meetings, as well as monthly governance forums.
• Understand and coordinate resolution of operational and control issues.
• Responsible for administration of approvals, expense management, and market data as appropriate.
• Engage with business manager peers to ensure close connectivity and coordination across markets.
What we're looking for:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computational Finance, Economics, Engineering (any), or related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience in the financial services industry.
Must have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible employment experience with each of the following required skills:
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products and financing concepts;
• Knowledge of trading systems and operational flows and key control points;
• Knowledge of the financial regulatory landscape including driving and representing the fixed income financing desk;
• Analyzing large datasets and intelligence to formulate conclusions and issue recommendations;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework; and
• Project management skills.
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building. The building is easily accessible to Restaurants, Shops and Public Transportation.
