Who we are looking for:

Based in Boston, the Workstream Lead Treasury-Liquidity Technology, VP is a senior-level role for State Streets Corporate Systems Finance platforms and partners. This hands-on role will partner with senior-level development managers, architects and business leadership to develop and execute the technology product roadmap. The role, reports to the Corporate Finance Technology Delivery Manager and may have direct reports based in Boston, India, China and other global locations. This role will work closely with leadership and peers across the Business Unit CIO organization, Global Technology Services (GTS) and the Corporate Finance functional domain.

What you will be responsible for:

Subject matter expert on Treasury and Liquidity Finance applications and functions providing techno/functional leadership to the delivery team.
Drive in client requirements gathering and market research to develop industry leading technology roadmaps with an aligned multi-year investment portfolio.
Lead projects and programs to support technology delivery aligned to business strategy.
Understand and be able to articulate impact and importance of regulations, timing, etc. specific to the Treasury and Liquidity domain.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the solution ties to business value realization.
Provide expert guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during design reviews and product demos with an eye towards simplicity of design and function.

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in Regulatory and/or Treasury Liquidity domain
Support key finance and treasury applications with strong expertise in C#/.NET, Java/J2EE, MS SQL Server, scripting languages (shell, perl, python)
Hands on technical experience working with finance technology including Axiom, Spotfire and data management solutions.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements specific to the Financial Services industry
Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently.
Proven ability to develop recommendations, form judgments and make decisions based on existing available data.
Proven ability to develop and manage cross functional processes and project timelines.
Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in professional software design and development
5+ years of Financial Services Industry experience in Regulatory and/or Treasury Liquidity domain.
Solid tech skillset/experience in Big Data/Hadoop, Database technology, Java/J2EE, Python/Powershell, PERL/Shell scripting; and process (agile, team player)

Additional requirements:
Domestic and/or international travel and flexible working hours may be required (i.e. weekend working and extended hours on occasion, linked to client assignments and project deadlines.)
Strong Excel, Word, Power Point skills required. Visio skills preferred.
Candidate must be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative.
Candidate must be self-assured and react well within critical deadline situations

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
