The Role: Client Service Manager

What's in it for you: This position is responsible for both the remote and on-site support and training of Commodity Insights' products within the Financial Institutions book of business ensuring customers derive optimal value from the real-time services they subscribe to. Through enhancing the customer experience, this role plays a key part in retention and lead generation. This position is also responsible for serving as a knowledgeable resource.

Responsibilities:
  • Become subject matter expert on Commodity Insights platforms and proficient on channel partner platforms.
  • Train and onboard new Commodity Insight subscribers. Work closely with Commercial team to ensure a positive onboarding experience during the implementation of new commercial agreements.
  • Drive adoption within an assigned set of accounts (financial institutions). Responsible for enhancing the client relationship with existing users and provide support when needed.
  • Partner with Commercial and other teams in the ongoing efforts to retain and grow business.
  • Active role during migrations efforts. Assist end users during the transition to our new go to market solutions.
  • Engage with Commodity Insight Analytics on client support and product developments.
  • Travel and meet on site with clients to understand their business objectives and goals
  • Collaborate with global Client Service teams on best practices, lessons learned and best ways to serve existing clients.
  • Work with Channel Partners on joint client engagements and on industry events.
  • Implement account retention initiatives to ensure end users are aware of new capabilities/content.
  • Extensive use of salesforce and other tools to maintain accurate activity, contact and account information of all customers.
  • Be the voice of our customers. Work with internal product teams to assist in the development of content. Bring our product team closer to our customers.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous client support and/or Sales interaction.
  • A self-starter who's organized and willing to own a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Time management and prioritization - managing multiple client requests, including product demonstrations, product training, and engagement documentation.
  • Ability to lead individual and group trainings effectively and succinctly, at all levels within a company.
  • Experience or interest in learning energy markets.
  • Ability to travel. ~40% travel time and meet with clients.
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce), Excel, Quip, Zoom, Teams
  • Experience and/or interest implementing and supporting data/or technology solutions.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,300 to $ 115,850. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
