Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.
Responsibilities:
Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance DBS' reputation through positive profiling of our Consumer Banking and Wealth Management businesses, and Sustainability initiatives
- Provide strategic counsel, plan and execute integrated communications strategies across earned, owned and paid media platforms, to positively predispose our stakeholders (e.g. investors, customers, employees) to the bank
- Mitigate and manage potential media and social media issues
- Generate and curate content for the bank's owned platforms (e.g. social media, newsroom, website)
- Cultivate and build rapport with key media and KOLs
- Use analytics and social listening tools to measure campaign effectiveness and further strengthen engagement
- Provide communications support for special projects
- Bachelor's Degree with preferably 3 - 5 years of experience in a corporate communications, public relations, or journalism role
- Exceptional writer and proactive communicator who is inquisitive and willing to learn
- Digitally-savvy, with a pulse on up-and-coming trends
- Able to think out-of-the-box and is open-minded but anchored with professional integrity.
- Possesses a strong sense of ownership and is able to translate purpose into meaningful impact
- Sincere collaborator who is able to build strong relationships with media / KOLs and internal stakeholders
- Empathetic, reflective and active listener who is works effectively with others, yet able to execute independently
- Multi-tasker who can concurrently manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Abe to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment but also reflective
- Familiarity with the financial industry a plus
