You will support the Quality Assurance (QA) Managers in planning, implementing, and executing a 'hands-on' sustainable QA process across the Bank's complex payments application landscape. This is part of a multi-year program tasked with implementing an Information Technology (IT) control framework for all payment-related applications in the Bank.

You will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of a sustainable testing strategy within the Bank's Technology organisation to evaluate existence and operation of payment controls across our payment applications

Your key responsibilities
  • Supporting London QA Managers in developing, implementing and executing a sustainable testing approach to validate completeness and effectiveness of the Payments IT control landscape, including development of QA sampling and documentation standards, continuous improvement process and promoting sustainable testing automation opportunities
  • Supporting London QA Managers in review and acceptance of deliverables from external vendor engaged to perform controls testing
  • Partnering with stakeholders including Technology application teams, Control Owners, Divisional Control Office and testing vendor to support transparency over IT risks and support sustainable risk mitigation outcomes

Your skills and experience
  • Significant track record of working with IT and Information Security controls testing and risk management
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Ability to demonstrate a structured logical approach to problem solving
  • Proactive and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
