FMGIM (FM Global Investment Management) is looking for an associate Investment Analyst who will assist the senior level investment staff in performing bottom-up, fundamental research for the purpose of building long-term oriented internal equity portfolios. In addition, a minority of the role may be allocated toward ad-hoc investment related projects, where the candidate will work alongside members of the investment team and the CIO.

Responsibilities:

Help support the screening and due diligence process for potential public equity investments.

Build detailed financial models and forecasts as part of the full due diligence process, with focus on key business value drivers.

Research and analyze industry and company fundamentals with the goal of developing unique and creative insights that contribute to investment decisions.

Effectively and concisely convey these insights through both oral and written communication.

Attend and contribute to research meetings, industry conferences and meetings with company managements.

Qualifications:

3-6 years of work experience required.

2+ years of investment management/equity research, private equity/venture capital, hedge fund experience preferred! Strong excel/financial modeling skills.

Broad knowledge of the financial markets. Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Driven self-starter who is energized by working in a competitive industry.

Good knowledge in using Bloomberg, FactSet, and similar investments systems. Working towards CFA / MBA preferred but not required 

The salary range for this position is $91,400 to $131,300. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
