ANALYTICAL MANAGER (AM)
INFRASTRUCTURE AND UTILITIES SSEA/PACIFIC
Role: Analytical Manager, South and South-East Asia (SSEA)/Pacific Infrastructure and Utility Ratings
Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 14/Senior Director
Location: Singapore , Melbourne
The team/the business
The S&P Global Ratings Global Infrastructure practice has 140+ analysts covering about 1,200 ratings across utilities, power, transportation infrastructure, and project finance. The practice is split into 7 teams globally, two in AsiaPac, three in North America, two in EMEA, and one in Latin America. The infrastructure practice is the only global team in S&P Ratings, which makes this a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to build and adopt a global view.
We now have an opening for an Analytical Manager for our infrastructure and utilities team covering the dynamic South and South-East Asia and Pacific markets, which includes large economies such as India, Indonesia, Australia, Vietnam, etc. The team applies both corporate and project finance methodology. The successful candidate will manage a strong team of about 13-15 analysts (based mainly in Singapore and Australia) covering around 80 rated entities/transactions and be a member of the Global Infrastructure Ratings leadership team. The Analytical Manager reports to the Global Head of Infrastructure & Utilities.

- Drive analytical and (customer) service excellence
- Lead the team's effort to deliver highest quality (and timely) analytics and superior customer service to issuers, investors, and intermediaries
- Act as senior S&P representative in high profile external interactions and in challenging customer relationships

- Strong understanding/experience of credit analysis and ratings, preferably in infrastructure or other capital-intensive sectors
- Demonstrated and extensive infrastructure industry expertise, preferably with a good understanding of project finance transactions and methodology
