Job Description:

The Intern is expected to work closely with the Associate/Analysts to:

Support the research process for project analysis  Collect and analyze information Make recommendations and solutions based on the findings. Analyze information to make appropriate investment decisions. Prepare financial models and investor memorandums

As the firm is in the initial stage the range of work is large, job roles, at times, overlap.

Learning outcomes

Exposure to the processes of fund-raising activities including Angel funding, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Debt Syndication Exposure to the processes of mergers and/or acquisitions Exposure to the processes of client interaction involving strategic stake holders and board rooms Exposure to the processes of real-life business negotiations and deal making Exposure to the processes of interaction with fund providers such as HNIs/Angels/VCs/Pes/Banks Exposure to the processes of interaction with other stakeholders - legal counsels / auditors etc.

Skills

Proficiency in financial modelling and knowledge of valuation methods such as DCF, comparables analysis etc. Superior qualitative and quantitative analytical skills  Good communication skills Working knowledge of MS Powerpoint and MS Excel Willingness to take-up cross functional roles is desirable

Tenure: 3/6 months, Full time/Part time
