The Manager - Investment Products Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and executing content strategies (marketing, communication, and training) for investment products within Wealth Management Solutions at Ameriprise Financial. This role will support efforts designed to increase awareness, understanding and sales of Wealth Management Solutions with advisors, clients, and sales consulting groups. This position reports to the Sr. Director - Product Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities
- Develop content strategies to increase awareness and drive growth of Wealth Management Solutions
- Create content to support investment products initiatives. Work with large cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration.
- Plan, write and implement content strategies and tactics that support integrated plans. Work individually or with a team to prepare marketing collateral, communications, sales literature, training materials, social media releases, etc.
- Serve as primary liaison with internal partners - legal, compliance, creative services, production services, product development, sales strategy, trading desk, etc.
- Drive measurable program results. Track program participation and results and provide recommendations for improvements, execute approved recommendations quickly across the organization to ensure alignment and integration
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in investments or non-financial product Marketing and Communications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent in a related field
- Active Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 120 days from hire date
- Strong, demonstrated writing skills -- including content research and audience strategies
- Proven ability to motivate and influence internal partners
- Demonstrated ability to work as a leader within teams and ability to collaboratively influence others
- Exceptional marketing, communication, training, project management and organizational skills
- Experience in developing and implementing dynamic content strategies
- Familiar with assessing campaign performance and using data to maximize results
- Capable of interacting with variety of individuals cross-organizationally
- Must be a self-starter, solution-focused and have ability to work independently
- Proven ability to think fast, respond quickly and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to prioritize, coupled with strong attention to detail
- Robust experience working with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in developing content (marketing, training and/or communication) to support insurance and annuity product suites
- Strong knowledge of investments and/or financial products and services (i.e., advisory solutions, alternative investments, capital markets, retirement plans)
- Knowledge of design and email marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Creative Suite)
