Wells Fargo is seeking a Project Manager

This role sits within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB). The role will focus on delivering high growth investment banking products for the EMEA & US regions. The Markets Project Manager will join the Change Management Team to support a team of Business Change Managers and the Markets Repo Program Manager. The individual will serve as a trusted subject matter expert and project manager to Change Leads, Business Leaders, COOs and project/Programme Sponsors. The project manager will deliver products and features associated to Secured Funding / Repo products. This may impact multiple lines of businesses, legal entities and group functions e.g. Front Office, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance.

In addition to this the Markets portfolio has a number of enhancements required to address foundational gaps. These will need to be prioritized and managed within this role.

In this role, you will:
  • Be a newly qualified PM with demonstrable experience of product enablement (Product approval routes) and managing technology change in financial institutions
  • Independently manage workstreams, projects and identify opportunity for smaller scale, lower risk projects such as initiation planning, executing, controlling, and closing within change management
  • Identify and capture basic project dependencies and interdependencies, ensure alignment of actions and artifacts with project policy, methodology and appropriate business deliverables are produced, maintained and milestones are met
  • Exercise independent judgment to guide project plans, budgets, resolution of issues and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines
  • Present recommendations for setting, tracking, and managing project financials and develop business related tasks for project planning and tracking
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in identifying, analyzing and reporting the risks related to immediate deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts, sponsors, stakeholders, project roles, direct managers, program leads, project individuals, risk managers, business partners and outside vendors
  • Run small change for critical run the bank items within the markets portfolio
  • Report into the overall program manager Repos
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience of delivering Investment Banking Products within Markets - Secured Funding preferable but not essential
  • Experience in Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through delivery experience within Financial Services
