Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets - Real Estate is a global investor and manager of real estate assets. The team consists of approximately 230 high performing and motivated employees across circa 20 cities globally. The business manages +US$25 billion of assets, across two distinct investment strategies - core / core plus; and opportunistic. While we always take a pragmatic approach to investing, we are currently focused on sectors that we believe are supported by structural tailwinds (multi-housing, logistics/industrial, office and data centres).

The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the implementation of the Fund's Investment strategy including allocation of capital, maximizing returns while managing risk. As an Associate Director in Munich, you will be a leader in the Portfolio Management team with direct responsibility for junior team members.

Your accountability for all aspects of team will include individual and overall portfolio performance against set objectives, working closely with investment and asset management teams globally as well as investors. You will work in collaboration with the Asset Management team to drive greater value from the existing portfolio of assets, set and manage investment strategy, and support ESG strategies. You will provide high levels of involvement in capitalisation proposals, acquisitions, and disposals, identifying and driving growth initiatives to develop the overall business.

To be successful in this role, you will bring senior-level experience in a similar institution within Real Estate investments. Your previous Portfolio Management experience would be a preference although Asset Management and / or Investments experience will also be required. You will have excelled in managing others and leading a team. You will have a strong eye for detail and be fluent in both written and spoken German and English.

If you are a solution-oriented thinker and enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
