- Assist portfolio managers in strategy development, execution, monitoring, and oversight of country portfolios
- Provide management reports on portfolio performances, investment income attribution to various stakeholders, as well as support in business financial projection, testing and analysis Work with the portfolio managers to conduct regular portfolio reviews highlighting areas of delivery risk, gaps and dependencies that will impact investment and financial outcomes
- Assist with the design and development of fund/equity performance/attribution analysis and ongoing data generation; Investigating and reconciling performance-related discrepancies
- Provide regular ALM position and market data updates. Support the CIO and portfolio managers in communications with Country, Regional, and Global management including preparation for regular committee meetings, earnings calls, or other ad-hoc discussions.
- Act as point person for portfolio data collection and management in Blackrock Aladdin
- Assist to ensure compliant execution of investment strategies in countries and provide support on internal and external audit requirements when required
- Proactively identify areas where processes can be improved or automated, or workflow can be streamlined
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in investment/finance/market risk management would be good preparation for the position. Experience in performance analysis, insurance asset management, ALM or actuarial is a plus
- Strong analytical, mathematical & data analysis skills; Close attention to details; Strong time-management and multi-task skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team player; Self-driven, willing to learn and take challenges
- MBA, CFA, CPA, FRM preferred
- English fluency with excellent oral and written communication skills
