Who we are looking for
This is a hands on technical leader position in Compliance Technology in Boston, USA, NA. A person with minimum 6 years experience is required and will be responsible for implementation of vendor applications used for Sanctions screening in State Street. The candidate will work closely with the vendor IT professional services staff, and leads from other State Street applications interfacing with the Screening applications. The person will also be responsible for identifying, architecting, designing, and building core re-useable functional components, tools, and services. In addition, the person will need to work with the production support team in resolving escalated production issues to ensure uninterrupted service to the business.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As a Application Development Lead you will
  • Work in a agile team of developers testers, and analysts in USA, India and China as a leader and provide leadership in solution development.
  • Architect, Design, Develop, and implement solutions for sanctions screening using Unix, Oracle, MQ, Big Data etc.
  • Write code and perform code reviews using Unix Shell scripts, Oracle SQL and Autosys.
  • Perform deployments of application in Cloud environment in Linux.
  • Implement vendor products for screening including main application in Unix and utilities in Windows.
  • Work with business analysts and translate business requirements into technical specificagtions.
  • Perform L4 production support to resolve issues escalate by the production support team.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a technical role in a financial services firm, or in a product development or professional services organization in a technology company that serves the financial service market.
  • Proficiency in Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, and Shell Scripts.
  • Knowledge of Ausosys, Git Hub, Big data is a plus.
  • Knowlede and experience in Machine learning is a plus.

Salary Range:
$130,000 - $212,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
