As a Physical Commodities Analyst at Susquehanna Shanghai Trading Co Ltd (SSTC), you will work with our physical trading desk to model, understand and identify trading opportunities in the commodities markets. Analysts provide in-depth market analysis and update on breaking news throughout the trading day.
SSTC is the onshore physical metals trading arm of Susquehanna International Group (SIG). At SIG we place a high value on education and development. If you are successful in this role you will experience this dedication to training firsthand as you work collaboratively with SIGs research analysts and traders to gain the practical exposure needed to perform your daily responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:
- Develop and manage supply & demand models for relevant onshore physical commodities markets
- Provide updates through the trading day on news and events related to physical commodities markets
- Travel to company events and conferences as required
- Manage research subscriptions
- Overseas training opportunities
- Based in SSTC's Shanghai office
What we're looking for
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Strong English reading & writing skills
- 2-4 years' experience as a commodities analyst in China.
- Demonstrable interest in, and knowledge of Chinese commodities markets
- Strong written, analytical, and research skills
- Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
