I am working with a North-American headquartered Venture Capital fund who invest in both early and growth stage companies with a purpose-driven focus. The firm value both B2B and B2C SaaS and Marketplace businesses which have the ability to transform industries and grow sustainably. They have built an outstanding track record across North America and more recently in Europe, investing out of offices in Canada, the US and the UK.
We are currently working with the team as they look to hire within their growth team in London. The focus of the team is to invest from Series B rounds up to pre-IPO, investing minority stakes to promote rapid growth. They are currently searching for an experienced Associate to join the team. This senior role in will be key to working on strengthening the funds deal source base to identify high-quality deals, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem, ensuring deals are executed effectively, and actively supporting portfolio companies.
Key skills and experience:
- 4-6 years of professional experience with at least 1 year in Investment Banking within a boutique or bulge-bracket bank and then 2+ years in growth or private equity investment
- Strong passion for and network within technology ecosystems across Europe and North America
- Excellent financial and technical skills including modelling, valuation and analysis
