Bruin is working with a highly regarded and international infrastructure private equity fund to hire an Associate for their Investment Team in New York.

Our client has developed an excellent reputation having hired a top-tier team and built a global and multibillion-dollar portfolio of assets across all infrastructure asset classes. With a significant pool of capital and a value add / core plus strategy, the Associate will have the opportunity to build an impressive deal sheet, be part of an excellent team culture and build a long-term career with the fund. The Associate will;
  • Be hands on with the origination, structuring, execution and management of large-cap and core plus investments across all infrastructure asset classes.
  • Regularly liaise with bankers, investors and industry professionals to generate investment leads.
  • Take responsibility for building financial models, conducting due diligence and overseeing third party advisors.
  • Help to prepare the investment memorandum and presentation.
  • Support in presenting deals to the Investment Committee.
  • Regularly interact with senior management of portfolio companies to develop & implement strategies to add value to assets.

Interested candidates must:
  • Be currently sitting as a Senior Analyst, Junior Associate or equivalent in the M&A Team of a top-tier bank or fund.
  • Have experience working on infrastructure, TMT, industrial or related M&A deals with proven transaction track records.
  • Possess a very strong skill set, including building models from scratch.
  • Be currently based in the US or be eligible to work in the US.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrate a strong business and commercial mindset.
