Senior Audit Manager, Insurance

My client is a life insurance company looking for a senior manager to review the audit reports and working papers documentation for compliance with the GIA standards. The candidate preferably has the leadership capability to develop audit-related skills within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, lead and execute audits in accordance with the GIA Standards
• Identify key risks of the business, respond to the emerging risks and communicate potential issues to management
• Manage the annual audit planning process, and develop a risk-based audit plan
• Contribute and advise business functions for the implementation of an effective and efficient system of internal control
• Collaborate with other internal assurance providers, second line of defense, and external auditor to leverage work performed, and update of risk profile
• Develop and execute data analytics strategy for audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in the life insurance company
• Big Four auditors with insurance focus are welcome
• Solid knowledge of insurance operational cycle and relevant regulatory requirements
• Experience in using data analytics tool for audit, such as ACL, Tableau, would be an absolute advantage
• Strong analytical/ presentation, and people/ project management skills
• Experience in the pension and investment audit is preferred
