Leading HFT fund is looking for a passionate front-end developer with React and Redux programming experience. Unique in their field, this global firm combines the lively, positive spirit of a start-up with the stability of a longer-established player.

In this role, you'll work with internal users to understand their needs and build fast, informative, user-friendly React apps using robust, reliable code. These apps will monitor trading activities in real time and control the complex automated systems. If you get real satisfaction from developing the best front-ends that users love to engage with on a daily basis, then this role would be perfect for you!

The successful Front End Engineer will be enthusiastic about front-end development, always looking to improve by staying up-to-date with new advances in the Javascript/React space, and keen to increase team productivity through knowledge-sharing and mentoring.

***Remote interviews are still possible, but all starts are now onsite and only if it specifies clearly is this role available fully remotely.***

  • 2+ years' hands-on programming experience in React & Redux, modern Javascript, HTML5 and CSS
  • Strong coding skills; writing reliable, readable code and providing code review feedback is second nature
  • Sound understanding of how to build high-performance Javascript applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data
  • Bonus points for experience with libraries for grids/charting/visualization, e.g. d3.js, ag-grid, React Charts, etc
  • UX design proficiency is a big plus
