PIMCO Managed Accounts and Municipal Bond Specialist

PIMCO is currently seeking a VP Account Manager to join our team.

Mission:
The mission is to provide world class sales, service and support to PIMCO largest advisory clients. This role will be instrumental in growing our SMA platform at PIMCO.

What you'll do:
  • Have a real passion for, and remain well-informed on, the financial markets, the global economic environment, asset allocation, investment vehicles and the overall financial services industry
  • Achieve high levels of substantive client interaction - via phone, e-mail, screen-sharing, in-person meetings (territory travel, industry conferences, due diligence, etc.)
  • Provide portfolio analysis and commentary to clients, prospects and internally
  • Partner with PIMCO Account Managers to sell and support municipal offerings
  • Support sales efforts as appropriate; reviewing sales trends, analyzing portfolios providing reports
  • Successfully establish an understanding of the nature and needs of our clients varying business practices
  • Confidently provide relevant marketing insight, product information, investment ideas and sales support
  • Seek to be empowered to think and act like effective business leaders, assuming full responsibility for development of certain client segments
REQUIREMENTS
  • A strong communicator
  • Have and/or develop a strong knowledge of PIMCO and PIMCO processes and culture
  • Goal driven and a firm believer that given enough time and resources, you can achieve any goal
  • Have excellent people skills: you love to pay attention to people, are engaging, and almost never run out of relevant things to discuss
  • Friendly, and genuinely enjoy working in a team environment, yet ready to run with projects independently
  • Relationship building is a key part of your life
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Inquisitive, and have a natural thirst for knowledge
  • Looking to participate in a rapidly growing business
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • CFA and/or MBA a plus
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary: $ 150,000.00
