DIVISIONS AND JOB FUNCTIONS
Asset Management Division provides institutional and individual investors with investment and advisory solutions, with strategies spanning asset classes, industries, and geographies. We help our clients navigate today's dynamic markets, and identify the opportunities that shape their portfolios and long-term investment goals. We extend these global capabilities to the world's leading pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, individuals and family offices. The Asset Management Division also invests in corporate equity and corporate debt, real estate equity, and real estate debt and infrastructure worldwide. Additionally, we provide asset management services to investments where Goldman Sachs has an interest. Consisting of hundreds of professionals in multiple offices around the world, our business operates on a global platform.
• Funds & Information Management group supports the investing teams in a variety of functions, including structuring and closing investments and the ongoing management and reporting of AMD's alternative investment funds and related financing facilities. The Funds & Information Management Group is also responsible for various analyses and projections in support of the business.
• Finance, Management, and Execution team executes on strategic initiatives at a regional and global level, manages financial and operational risk, and helps drive returns though various capital and workflow efficiency initiatives. Additionally, the FME team supports closing investments and facilitating communications between investing teams and various support areas.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Global Markets Division enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.
  • Equities teams transact in stocks and other equity-related products, including convertible securities, options, and futures. Their work includes financing, securities lending, and other services for institutional investors.
  • Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities teams transact in a variety of assets, including interest rate products (such as government bonds, treasury bills, and other highly liquid instruments), credit products, mortgages, currencies, and commodities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree (2019 - June 2023)
• 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
• Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
• Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
• Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
• Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
• Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $70000 - $130000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
