Location: Remote
Rate: $70-$85/hr DOE (which if worked full time for a year is the salary equivalent of $145,600-$176,800/yr) **This role is to be paid based on hours worked**
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months with opportunity to extend/permanent hire

Your day-to-day activities will include:

Planning & Reporting for Management, Board & Investor-level analysis & presentations
Prepare business valuation reports, conduct business segment analysis, market risk analysis, financial statement analysis, investment portfolio analysis, investor relations, and other ad hoc reporting
MD&A and Operational results analysis and reporting
Ensure that materials are concise and effectively communicate clear action items / storylines to senior management
Be able to speak to the story of all KPIs and be able to craft an earnings story for the organization as well as each business

What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need:

Life & Retirement business and product experience
Graduate or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Highly analytical
Possess strong research, analytical and practical problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills
Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills
