Private Equity Analyst

A Southeast Lower Middle-Market firm is looking to add an experienced Analyst to their growing investment team! This opportunity is a great chance to work along side some of the senior members of the deal team, while gaining experience and expertise in the technology & health care industry. This is a career-track role that will expose you to the full life cycle of deals within a well-established firm.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, such as financial modelling, valuation, comparable and relative value analyses.
• Create investment presentations and transactions memos regarding new investment opportunities
• Evaluate and monitor the ongoing performance of portfolio company investments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics or related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience working in lower middle-market investment banking and M&A consulting
• Experience building financial models, valuations, pitchbooks, CIMs etc.
• Strong due diligence and interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
