The ideal candidate will be a key part of their Quantitative Development team, working on technical and efficient solutions for problems that their Traders and Researchers come across.
Responsibilities will include;
Requirements
Ideally between 1 and 3 years of working experience in a role with hands on Python development.
Experience working with an Investment Bank or Hedge Fund is preferable but the team is focused more on considering strong Python developers, who may be from other backgrounds.
Bachelors/Masters degree with a focus on Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Electrical Engineering or Statistics.
Strong numerical and technical skills, ability to work quickly within time constraints.
Compensation
Base: £80,000 - £120,000
Discretionary end of year bonus. This is dependant on individual and team performance.
VISA sponsorship is available.
Responsibilities will include;
- Designing tools, applications and dashboards for the Trading desk, these can focus on analytics, market data, strategy research and backtesting, and also execution.
- Working with Traders with the production of systematic trading strategies, and supporting their deployment.
- Building and deploying clean trading software and frameworks, as well as suggesting areas for improvement with current software.
