The Client

A $7 billion Hedge Fund is looking for an experienced Java Lead to take ownership as one of the founding engineers of a brand-new e-trading movement. As one of the most technology-oriented firms in America, this platform is being built from scratch using some of the most cutting-edge technologies on the market. Full ownership of this project includes input into all stages of the product's life cycle. The completely greenfield project will completely redesign their Equities and Fixed Income trading platforms, which sit on the core Alpha platform, underpinning the entire firm's revenue generation. This project requires expert engineers with a key understanding of the financial markets and high levels of communication to drive the build-out of this highly performant platform.
